Furious planning to see if my adventure is to blame.
Still, I managed to fit in some fine dining... saffron potatoes, grilled sausages and asparagus with some warmed tomato. The potatoes are kinda cool: you parboil them with saffron, then drain and put on an oven tray sprinkled with tumeric, salt, pepper and olive oil and roast 'em for half an hour or so. Crispy, spicy and golden yellow. My hands are a little bit stained with crocus as I check flights and rail passes and accommodation. I will stop raving about this soon... Due to a very kind food parcel from A.D. on Tuesday, I also enjoyed fresh, home made mushroom soup for lunch today.
AND tomorrow is the last debate for the term. Rock on.
