Stuck in the middle...

Ah the joy of Wednesday night. You know that you've broken the hump of the week and are now descending towards Friday at an increased velocity. In my case this week, this feeling is even better because I'm taking Friday off in a pre-wedding thing. One more day! I can almost taste the weekend.
Not much other taste excitement happening; leftovers for dinner tonight (pasta with the slow-roasted romas, avocado which was hard as a rock on Saturday and is now bad and tuna) after a short interlude at Buck's Party #2. One thing I will say, by the by, is that the Thai chicken dish from last week froze brilliantly! I wasn't at all sure that it would but we have success. The boys at the Buck's are presumably enjoying themselves further afield after we narrowly avoided getting into a fight with a smoker who set himself up at our table, smoke blowing straight into our faces at a distance of about 50 cm and then called us wankers for (politely) asking him to move. Sigh. I guess it completed the Sydney picture: glorious afternoon, beautiful harbour, good wine and business types who take themselves far too seriously.  Or maybe that's just any big city in the world... Still, didn't spoil the harbour.
