On Beauty

A very quick note as I hurry off to work with elegantly flaking nails. I have come to the conclusion that nail polish only really works if you do nothing at all with your hands; I'm going to posit (and I recognise that this is controversial) that even high-heels may be more practical than nail polish. At least when you cook in heels, you don't run the risk of garnishing your mains with shiny little crescents of Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails. Glittery and delicious.
