Another Day, Another Dinner

So, today's exciting food adventure was dinner at BBQ King with D.H. and Ant. Ah...that tireless, timeless temple to meat! Ant. and I remembered taking a vegan colleague to dinner there and accidentally seating him facing one of their posters showing hundreds of barbecued carcasses hanging from a roof....don't think he enjoyed dinner so much actually.
We kept it minimal, but the real highlight was a dish called Minced Pork and Peas. As it turned out, it was minced pork and beans and enough of the latter to answer my concerns about the lack of green in our ordering. Very tasty - lots of garlic, very savoury. Looking around, I was struck by just how cool the clientele appear to be - tables with a high proportion of beautiful people between veneer walls and no frills service. Fun place, and it's nice knowing that you can assuage your craving for Peking Duck at midnight if you so desire.

BBQ King - the highlight is the cool diaroma out the front. Never has butchery looked like so much fun.
